When you hear the phrase “money mindset,” what kind of images come to mind? That’s the topic we’re discussing in this week’s episode. We start by talking about what our money mindsets are now versus what they were when we were younger. Anyone else guilty of viewing credit cards as free money, or was that just us!?
From there, we discuss where our scarcity mindsets come from and the fears that are attached to it. There are various aspects of your life and career that are affected by your money mindset, so be careful of self-sabotaging thoughts! If you think you’re going to run out of money, you probably will.
Towards the end of this episode, we share some tips for how to shift from a scarcity mindset to one of abundance. When you make mental shifts, positive changes will start happening, and we share some of the ones we have personally experienced. One thing we continue to learn is that having a positive money mindset means money will often present itself at the exact time you need it most. The first step is learning how to be content and appreciating what you already have.
